Traditional & Digital Artwork: A Journey of Transformation
Creativity has always been a part of me, though my journey as an artist began in an unconventional way. During my childhood, traditional artwork was suppressed, and my creativity found its outlet in technological and digital realms. It wasn’t until 2013 that I picked up a paintbrush for the first time in my life and immersed myself in acrylic painting, subsequently spending countless hours exploring this medium.
After years of study, experimentation, and learning through observation and imitation, I reached a turning point. My painting techniques had plateaued, and I felt a profound desire to deepen my craft. I craved the knowledge of the old masters and sought out a mentor to guide me along this path.
Since 2019, I’ve been apprenticing under master oil painter Jack Shure, whose lineage includes modern greats like Christian Rex Van Minnen and Maura Holden—artists who’ve devoted their lives to interpreting the timeless techniques of Old Masters such as Titian. Under Jack’s mentorship, I’ve honed my skills in under-painting, indirect painting, grisaille, glazing, and many other methods that have elevated my craft to new heights.
Today, I primarily work with oils, embracing the idea of "painting with the Earth & from the Soul.” While I continue to experiment with acrylics and other mediums like digital art and sculpting to explore new forms of expression, my focus remains on developing a unique style that speaks to both tradition and innovation.
As an Indigenous Allegany of the Seneca Nation, my connection to my Ancestors profoundly shapes my artistic journey. I’ve been entrusted with a Great Responsibility by my Elders to carry forward our cultural wisdom and re-integrate ways of living in alignment with each other and the land. Through ritual work and storytelling—infused with visual arts—I work to inspire, protect, and preserve our culture for future generations. My mission is to help others re-member how to live in harmony with one another and the natural world.
My art is a reflection of my life—each piece a channel for my experiences, emotions, and spiritual explorations. I walk the line between abstraction and realism, drawing inspiration from Mother Nature, diverse cultures, and an ever-expanding range of interests and genres. Every work is a piece of my spirit that you can physically experience. My hope is that my art resonates energetically, physically, mentally, and emotionally, creating a resonance that lingers long after the moment you first experience it.
Since 2023, my creative pursuits expanded to include sculpting, electrical systems, and the digital art world. Recent projects include the creation of a 20-foot modular sculpture, Granny Flames, designing AI data structures and generative models, crafting immersive and responsive art installations, and storytelling through video artwork. At my core, I’m a builder and creator.
Below, you’ll find my official releases, showcasing the evolution of my work in both traditional and digital mediums.
